On Thusrday I when to Mr. C’s this eigth period. I stood outside the door, no one noticed. He was siting in the front of the room. I walked in the seventh graders were reading. they looked up. Mr. C starred at me as I was looking at the seventh graders, then to him. I went to the corner of his desk, and tried to decide to take a seat in the wheely chair or to pull up a desk. I sat next to him in the wheely chair. I took one look around at the seventh graders. They were all staring at me with eyes telling me it’s not me classroom anymore.

Mr. C asked me “How are you?” Starting our topic off with a basic question.

I replied that I was fine. I stretched out the word fine, because the seventh graders were still staring at me. Mr. C gave them the dirty eye.  Most of them turned back to their books.

He then announced that “Anyone who didn’t have a book, read a National Geographic.” a few went up to grab one.

He finally turned his attention back to me. I felt better that the students were reading instead of watching me.

About five minutes later he asked the students if any of them wanted to go to the library. Four of them raised their hands. Since only two can go at a time, he said for them to line up in order of who’s going first in the center of his classroom. It was funny watching them scramble as he counted to ten.

We talked for about fifteen minutes. Then he recommended a book called The Last Lecture. I read the summary, it’s kind of  sad. He then went to his computer to finish  writing a letter to someone.

It felt weird to sit and talk to him wile seventh graders who didn’t even knew me watched or listened. Oh well. ‘Till next time.
